How to attach icing or wafer sheets

People ask me all the time, how can i attach this to my cake? Well its not hard to do at all. When i used to do cakes, I used plenty kitchen roll, i would wet it, ring it out, slightly dampen the cake where its going to do, and then place onto the cake and rub it with a smoother.

If you put your cakes in the fridge, then you can with icing sheet prints. but not with wafer prints. These can run onto the cake, or go soggy in the fridge, so i would suggest putting wafer on when you are going to deliver the cake, take the cake out of the fridge 30 min before placing the wafer onto it, so that its not too cold, this can make wafer paper crinkle. Here is a video that i did a while ago, demonstrating how to attach to a fondant covered cake.
